The Counsellors
To undertake clinical work for AAAC all Affiliate counsellors * have individually undertaken a minimum of 4 years training to Diploma Level, on qualifying or when joining the service, they must undertake additional professional training in working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, trauma, and Pre-trial therapy.
Clinical Lead
Has over 20 years clinical experience working in the field of Childhood Sexual Abuse and Trauma, she is a qualified in Trauma Informed Practice, EMDR & EFT, Equine Assisted Therapy & Emotional Wellbeing, and is a qualified Clinical Supervisor.

All Counsellors/Therapists

• Adhere to the BACP ‘Ethical Framework,’ or equivalent. please click the link to find out more www.bacp.co.uk<
• Hold Professional Insurance for all aspects of their work
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate
• Attend Clinical Supervision 1.5 hours per month with a qualified supervisor
• Undertake a minimum of 30 hours Continued Professional Development Training every year

*Affiliate counsellors are not employed by The AAAC Counselling Service Ltd but undertake work on a self employed basis.
